Questions & Answers

1. How long have you been buying coins?

I first started collecting coins over 40 years ago, going through thousands of Lincoln cents on the family kitchen table, and I found my passion and then started to buy and sell coins. I then turned my love for coins into a business with over forty years of accumulated coin experience and now I buy and sell coins. I am a Registered PCGS and NGC dealer. .

2. What are proof and mint sets and what are their value?

Both proof and mint sets are made by the US Goverment. Proof Sets are made from 1936 thru present. They are made from specialized polished dies under extreme pressure. Mint Sets are made from 1947 thru present. They are made from regular coins dies. Each year has a seperate value so the best thing to do is bring them in so I can look them in the book to see the price.

3. Do you need an appointment? And do you charge to evaluate coins?

At Nevada Coin & Jewelry you never need an appt for us to evaluate your coins & jewelry. Nevada Coin & Jewelry will be happy to evaluate your collection for FREE. We do not charge to look at and appraise any type of coins you may have.

We know that that are many places for Las Vegas residents to cash out their gold, we make the highest cash offer & have to be the most competitive to earn their business

4.I see you brought a box full of goodies, what's up with that?

Yes. My expertise is in sorting through boxes of jewelry. Many of the pieces will be cashable. As you can see here is a sterling silver chain, here is gold chain and a bracelet that is broken. All this Nevada coin and Jewelry buys for cash. Bring in your jewelry box and I will help all your channel 13 viewers sort through it and get them the most money possible.

5. As a licensed coin buyer, what are some of the more popular coins that Nevada Coin & Jewelry buys?
